Ball profile guide rail LLT and profile rail bearing are widely spread in many industries and are nearly used for any linear guide application. They are equipped with 4 rows of ball-bearings at right angles. Thanks to the X arrangement with rails and carriages (block), larger differences in height can also be made up. The superior design of the profile guide rail ensures reliable and friction-free operation of a linear motion system. The carriages can be replaced with the same rail size, simplifying maintenance and installation. The low-friction cover disc (available in sizes 15 to 30) serves to minimise friction. It can be combined with an additional S7 face seal when a low friction seal is required.

      LLTHZ..S1

      LLTHZ..S1

The wiper plates are made of stainless steel and are contact-free. They protect the facing seal from coarse impurities and hot metal chips.

      LLTHZ..S3

      LLTHZ..S3

This set of seals consists of wiper plates for the LLTHZ series ... S1 and an additional LLZHZ series actuator seal ... S7. It protects the low-friction seal from damage caused by coarse impurities.

      LLTHZ..S6

      LLTHZ..S6

The additional lube element is available in sizes 15 to 35. The lubrication reservoir filled with oil enhances the service life of a profile rail guide system. It provides a constant oil film on the raceways and the rolling elements and maintain optimal tribological conditions.

      LLTHZ..S7

      LLTHZ..S7

The additional (single lip) actuator seal is a contact seal made of rubber (NBR). In conjunction with an S0 cover plate, it ensures low-friction, sealed carriages.

      LLTHZ..PL

      LLTHZ..PL

The adapter plates create a lateral lubrication point for grease nipples or for the central lubrication systems. They are suitable for applications where the standard front lubrication point cannot be used.

      LLTHZ VN UA..

      LLTHZ VN UA..

This lubrication connection acts as an interface for the central lubrication systems.

      LLTHZ..D6

      Frequently asked questions

Linear rail guides are mechanical components commonly used in industrial applications for the precise linear movement of machinery and equipment. These devices consist of a rigid rail, usually made of steel, and a block or slide that moves along the rail. Linear guides provide smooth, backlash-free linear motion, providing precision and reliability in industrial applications. They are widely used in sectors such as industrial automation, robotics, and the production of complex machinery. Linear guides offer numerous benefits, including long life, good wear resistance and the ability to withstand heavy loads.

It is essential to consider several key factors when selecting the right linear rail guide for your needs. First of all, assess the dynamic load requirements for the linear rail guide, ensuring that the rail guide is sized appropriately for the load and stiffness requirements of the machine. Other considerations in choosing the profile rail guide will be stroke length, required speed, required life, as well as the precision required to provide optimal machine performance. The environment will play a key role in determining accessories such as seals and grease options for the linear rail guide system. Engineering support and a strong commercial offer are also essential in choosing the right linear rail guide partner. With a proper analysis of these factors, it will be possible to identify the ideal linear guide to ensure optimal and long-lasting performance in the desired application.

There are different types of linear guides, each with specific characteristics to meet different linear motion requirements. The main differences between the types of linear guides relate to the rolling elements. For example, most linear rail guides utilize balls as the rolling element providing smooth motion and low resistance. Roller linear rail guides, on the other hand, use rollers for the sliding system, providing a higher load capacity, enhanced stiffness, and better wear resistance.
